What hülf:me is — and what it is not.
What we do
hülf:me is a guide. We ask you a few questions and show you services in Vienna responsible for your situation — with everything you need for the first step: where, when open, what it costs, what to expect.
What we don’t do
We don’t counsel, don’t treat and don’t decide anything. The services we send you to do that. We are the anteroom, not the destination.
How entries are verified
Entries are checked against the official website of each service — not by phone. Each entry shows when it was last checked. Currently 141 of 161 entries are checked; the rest are marked as unchecked. In addition, a program checks every month whether the number and hours are still on the website — those entries are marked “automatically checked”. Websites are not always up to date: if in doubt, call ahead. If something is no longer right, tell us — we correct it.
Who is behind it
Behind hülf:me is Constantin from Vienna — a volunteer, working alone. I check the entries against each service’s official website and note the date. A small, independent project: not part of any authority, church or party. Details in the legal notice.
